RAF Lakenheath, home to the Liberty Wing, is located in England approximately 70 miles from London and 25 miles from Cambridge. As part of the 48th Fighter Wing, the 48th Force Support Squadron provides the very best in quality of life initiatives, programs, events, and activities to the Lakenheath community.

Many of the 48th Force Support Squadron's programs and facilities are the top in the Air Force. Marketing & Publicity and ITT were named "Best in Air Force for 2009 (2008(b))."
